Click the title of any calculator to take you to its dedicated page.
Pixel Pitch Calculator
Pixel pitch is the distance between the center of two neighboring photosites which make up the pixels on a digital camera sensor.
Data Transfer Calculator
How long will it take my footage to offload?
Addtionally, if you know the bitrate of your codec you can calculate recording time.
For instance, 16:9 2.8K @ 24fps ARRIRAW records at 168 MB/s
Open Gate @ 24fps on an ALEXA 65 records at 737 MB/s
Common data rates:
SSD = 200 MB/s to 500 MB/s, typically 400 MB/s
HDD = 80-160 MB/s, typically 130 MB/s
Seeing slower speeds than this? Check that you’re using a fast enough cable and USB port.
Please refer to your source media type to determine the maximum read speed that you can copy at. Your destination drive / transfer method may not be the bottleneck.
